KJYO-W29
While I've been flying since my last video, I haven't had a chance to get the camera in the cockpit. You know how fussy passengers can be when they have to crane their necks around a tripod and camera that's spoiling their view. But, on the other hand, the smiles on the faces of first-time GA fliers is well worth leaving out the video.
Luckily for me, a flying buddy asked if I wanted to fly to Bay Bridge airport (W29, Stevensville, MD) with him. Hmmm.... Lemme think about that. I mean, really. How much arm twisting does it take to get a pilot in the air??
Anyway, I was not the pilot, but I did bring the video camera with me. Although I was not using the tripod, the video is still not bad. These clips show us departing Leesburg, VA (KJYO) shortly after dawn, landing at Bay Bridge, crossing back over the Chesapeake Bay, and landing back at KJYO.
