KJYO Night Currency
This was a night currency flight. There were scattered thunderstorms in the area, but nothing showed on radar in the Winchester, VA (KOKV) area at our time of departure. However, things changed between the time I got the weather briefing and the time we lifted off. We saw the thunderstorms that radar showed to the Northwest, but we saw no activity near our route of flight. That was not the picture ATC saw, though...
