Night Departure From Richmond, VA (KRIC)
Here is a night IFR departure from Richmond International (KRIC). Winds were still out of the north-northwest at 10, but were smooth. Potomac TRACON was very helpful in giving us a direct routing home. Even though I typically file and get airway clearances (at least initially), this was one time I was quite happy to fly the magenta line straight to Manassas (KHEF).
