The 4-year-old nephew helped with the pre-flight (anything to be around the airplane) and, later as I took off, I rocked the wings to wave goodbye to family on the ground.

The flight home was smooth and cool at 9000 and we got direct CSN shortly into the flight. As we neared CSN and Potomac dropped us down to 3000, somebody lit the furnace. Summer had arrived while we were away and we opened every vent we could find to try to stay cool.
