Deer Strike Repair - Step 9

Another photo was sent to us today. This one shows the fuselage being prepared for paint stripping. They'll conduct the annual after stripping the fuselage, so it may be a little while before more painting activity is done.

I went to Hagerstown Aircraft Services to discuss paint schemes and color themes. Bob tagged along and we spent a couple hours on a Sunday ( Thanks Tracey! ) poring over photos and paint chips and touring the shop at HAS. Tracey was very helpful and patient

Deer Strike Repair - Step 4

We got the estimate approved by the insurance company: ~$35,000. Pretty much everything aft of the rear baggage compartment is being replaced. Theoretically, we should get it back in six weeks or so.
