Deer Strike Repair - Step 5
The club has had it on their wish list for years to get a new paint job and it was decided this deer strike repair was an opportunity to get it done. After a bit of discussion, it was decided to accept "loan advances" from member volunteers to cover the extra costs of painting the front "half" of the plane. This eliminated the need for a mandatory assessment against the members and the ones advancing the money for the paint will be repaid using "capital improvement" funds and other options. Most folks will be repaid in just about a year.
