Thanksgiving '07 - Part 7 of 8: 65J-KRMN
After a week of relaxation (well, mostly), it was time to fly home from Wrens, GA (65J) to Leesburg, VA (KJYO). However, we had one stop to make before KJYO. I had promised my sister I'd drop off two of her chihuahua puppies to my aunt who would meet me at Stafford, VA (KRMN). Believe it or not, this was my first visit to KRMN since the airport opened.
The flight was mostly "severe clear" with nice tailwinds keeping my ground speed above 140 knots for the first couple hours.
Of course, those tailwinds came with some gusty conditions on the ground. Winds were generally aligned with the runway at 15G21. I decided on a no-flaps landing to help smooth it out and was pleased with the result.
The video shows my approach and landing at KRMN.
